Cleaning Up My Act with Biologika

Whenever I can find a product that does the job for which it was designed without hurting the environment, I grab it. When it s also produced by a cruelty-free company, I really rejoice. Biologika s soaps and deodorants made me feel great in more ways than one. And it s another great product from the earth-friendly people at Earth Spirit. The primary ingredients in Biologika s bar soaps are organic safflower oil, avocado oil and macadamia oil. They come in four scents including Bergamot and Macadamia, Vanilla and Almond, and Lavender: But my personal favorite was the Rose and Geranium. The scents are perfectly balanced with the product, in my opinion. They were heavy enough to enjoy when washing and left just a little bit of pleasant scent in the bathroom, but were light enough not to leave my hands smelling like heavy perfume.

The texture of the soaps was very smooth, and they lathered up quickly on a loofa mitt, a washcloth, and on my bare hands. There was no residue left behind like most bar soaps. I felt clean but not dried out.

A nice little perk is how pretty the soaps are; bright beautiful colors with no artificial coloring now that s neat! The colors were so vibrant that I had to keep reminding myself of this.

Biologika s line of aluminum-free roll-on deodorants includes six different scents. I sampled Evening Bliss, a light citrus-scented blend including grapefruit extract and lime. The product itself felt very cool and refreshing. I found it worked as well and as long, or better and longer, than any aluminum-free deodorant I had tried, and I ve tried quite a few. It comes in more scents than any other similar product line I ve seen.
