Most hair thinning solutions center on procedures to add hair to the scalp, but Viviscal takes a nutritional approach.

It takes six months to reach the maintenance stage; until then, users take two supplemental pills a day, with stage one nourishing the hair follicles, stage two strengthening existing hair, stage three producing the growth of hair that has slowed or stopped and stage four showing a better quality of hair. After a month of use, I did see strengthening and thickening of existing hair; quite a bit less was coming out in the shower or brush.
