I am sure everyone has a different idea of the perfect spa experience. For me the key ingredients are: a beautiful and quiet setting, intimate surroundings, attentive staff, a diverse spa menu, and at the end of the day, a feeling that you are the most important person to come through the door. What's the right word for that? Pampered!

Imagine each lodge room overlooking a pristine lake, beautiful appointments in each room and a full service spa just a few steps away. Would you like to sit by a crackling fire lake-side and out under the stars or have a nice glass of wine out on your private lodge deck? Perhaps canoe to a private cove in the morning and schedule a hot stone massage in the afternoon? You might choose the sauna or a facial. Really, the truth is you will have a hard time choosing.

It has been said everything is in the details. How about fresh granola for breakfast from the local bakery served room-side, a mini-kitchen in each room that has it all, and acres of property right out the door to meander? Adventures may include a stroll through the organic gardens in the early morning mist, daydreaming on a lakeside bench and even a glance at the resident all white peacock.

I love it when folks do things 110% and the owners and staff at LakeHouse Lodge and Spa seem to do that and more.
