Four of Connoisseurs Scotland’s properties – The Scotsman Hotel, Stobo Castle Health Spa, Cringletie House Hotel and Boath House Hotel – have announced a series of appealing spa opportunities.
In celebration of the new spa and the partnership with Thalgo, a top marine brand, The Scotsman has an overnight package priced at £330 ($531) based on double occupancy; it includes breakfast, deluxe accommodations and spa treatments – Hydrate and Feel Good Facial, Salt Body Scrub and Indian Head Massage – for each guest. For day guests, the three treatments are available for the special price of £90 ($145) per person.
The Stobo Castle Health Spa – Scotland’s first and only destination spa, set in the Scottish borders – has completed a £5 million addition that includes a 25-meter Ozone pool, 40 new luxury treatment rooms, air-conditioned aerobics/dance studio, gymnasium, Ice Fountain, Aromatic Steam Room, Crystal Steam Room, Hydrospa and Laconium. Stobo offers more than 80 spa treatments – including the Dauphin Haute Couture Body Treatment, exclusive to Stobo – and a one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio. Rates starting at £115*(185) per person per night, double occupancy, include all meals and unlimited access to the Health Suites, spa facilities and fitness classes; a supplement of £20 ($32) applies on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Cringletie House Hotel, a castle-style mansion where no two bedrooms are the same and each public room features a roaring log fire, provides an in-room spa service with spa and beauty treatment choices ranging from luxury manicures and pedicures to reflexology sessions and hot stone full body massages; treatment prices range from £11-55 ($18-89). They also offer special children’s pampering treatments – “Glitzy Nails,” makeup, glitter tattoos – individually or as a package for £25 ($40). A two-night Connoisseurs Scotland-only offer for those who love to walk the countryside runs £200 ($322) per person with breakfasts and dinners, free walking maps and delivery of a picnic hamper, if desired.
The Boath House Hotel, a Georgian mansion dating to 1825 and meticulously refurbished in the early nineties, is set amid 20 acres of lawns, streams and mature woodland. Pit has a Michelin-starred restaurant and eco-friendly Aveda Concept holistic treatments in the spa. Starting in October, the property offers the “Beauty Breaks” package, priced from £390 ($628) per night based on double occupancy, which includes dinner, breakfast and two treatments per couple from the following list: Aveda manicure, Aveda pedicure, back and shoulder massage, 30 minute sports massage and Aveda pure focus facial. For more information, visit www.luxuryscotland.co.uk or e-mail info@luxuryscotland.co.uk
