Classical Stretch: The Esmonde Technique Offers Rejuvenating Retreat at Mohonk Mountain House
Weekend Getaway June 30 – July 1, 2012
For 12 years, Miranda Esmonde-White’s TV fitness program Classical Stretch—The Esmonde Technique, has been the most successful fitness television show on the PBS network, reaching 70% of the U.S. market.
Now, for one weekend in June, fans can work out with Miranda live at the luxurious Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY. On Saturday and Sunday, June 30 – July 1, 2012, Miranda Esmonde-White will hold a weekend of stretching and rejuvenating….perfect for anyone looking to jumpstart the summer fitness season.
A former ballerina with the National Ballet of Canada, Miranda later opened a dance center in Montreal and began training Olympic Medal winning athletes, including the famous Olympic Silver Medalist Diver Alexandre Despatie and Bronze Medalist Figure Skater Joannie Rochette.
Although many young athletes have adopted Miranda’s technique, the Classical Stretch television series targets Baby Boomers who are looking to keep their bodies fit so they are still able to lead full, active lives.
“I created this as a fitness program that would simultaneously increase strength and flexibility,” said Miranda. “What resulted is a program that has helped thousands of people reverse the signs of aging, prevent its onset and help people lose a ton of weight.”
The 1-night/2-day “Classical Stretch Weekend” with Miranda at Mohonk Mountain House includes three group classes followed by workshops. The cost of the event includes all classes and workshops, guestroom accommodations for one night, three meals (lunch and dinner Saturday, June 30; and breakfast Sunday, July 1), afternoon tea, valet parking and taxes.
