Dorchester Collection Announces New Spa and Wellness Offerings

 Dorchester Collection properties are unveiling a collection of new spa, wellness and fitness offerings. From acclaimed fitness specialists to luxurious treatments to a renovated spa, below are a few highlights in Milan, Paris, London, Los Angeles and Geneva: 

  • Set in the heart of Milan, Hotel Principe di Savoia is now offering new and unique anti-aging spa and beauty treatments for the upcoming fall season. The “Algae Body” treatment (1 hour and 20 minutes/€135, approximately $167 USD) is an intensive treatment effective for fluid retention and cellulite, and helps promote a remodeling of the silhouette. The Facial “lifting” treatment (1 hour and 20 minutes/€150, approximately $186 USD) has an intensive lifting effect which acts on aging skin to reveal a visibly younger and firmer result. In addition, the Kanebo Facial “Sensai Beauty is an advanced anti-aging treatment that uses luxury products from the premier line (1 hour and 20 minutes/€170, approximately $211 USD.

 

  • In Paris, the luxurious “Spa Valmont pour Le Meurice reopened in September after a four-month long revitalization. A haven of tranquility extending over 3,600 square feet, the revamped Spa Valmont is decorated in soothing shades mixing bronze, celadon green and beige with accents of gold. To celebrate, Spa Manager Sylvaine Declèves created the exclusive and limited edition Bulle Émotionnelle, a revitalizing facial protocol that focuses on restoring the skin’s natural glow through massage and Valmont’s Renewing Pack. A limited number of this exclusive treatment is available (60 minutes/€150, approximately $186 USD).
  • Also in Paris, Hôtel Plaza Athénée‘s Dior Institut au Plaza Athénée features “Dior Prestige Facial Ritual,” a luxurious treatment using new and exclusive products including Prestige Souveraine. Designed as an exceptional step-by-step experience and ultimate indulgence for the most delicate skin, the treatment begins with a deep back massage and a gentle full make-up removal. This is followed by an application of Essence Initiale Dior Prestige, a careful exfoliation, and a facial massage smoothing and applying firm pressure from the contour of the ears to the neck and shoulders. A gentle eye contour treatment is also included. The ultimate step is the gentle application of various products, depending on the skin’s requirements, including Dior Prestige Satin Revitalizing Nectar and Creme or the Huile and Crème Souveraine. After 75 minutes of exceptional skincare and ultimate relaxation, the face is left fresh, serene and radiant and the body is rejuvenated (75 minutes/€210, approximately $271).
  • London’s 45 Park Lane and UK fitness expert Matt Roberts have partnered to create an in-room workout fitness program for the hotel’s guests. The new in-room fitness TV channel offers guests a selection of professionally led workouts designed and narrated by Roberts, all within the comfort and privacy of the guest room. For those that are feeling inspired, a complimentary “Exercise Matt at 45 Park Lane Fitness Pack,” a step-by-step training technique program, is available for guests to take home. The workouts are also available online on 45 Park Lane’s website, allowing guests to continue the workout even after their departure. In addition to Matt Roberts’ fitness program, 45 Park Lane includes complimentary yoga mats within each room and bespoke Brompton bicycles, which are in the signature purple color of the property.   • The exclusive eco-luxury Spa at Coworth Park, located in Ascot, now offers a new Submerge into The Spa at Coworth Park,” which includes: two night accommodation with breakfast; two 50-minute massage per person per day; two glasses of Champagne in The Spa; and access to facilities including the gym, swimming pool (with underwater music), aromatic steam and relaxation room. Boasting solid eco-credentials, The Spa at Coworth Park features a Living Roof with plants and herbs such as St. John’s Wort, Thyme, Chamomile and Lavender which are used by the spa therapists. Package begins at £735 + VAT (approximately $1,191 USD).
  • Also in London, The Dorchester launched a series of new, luxurious treatments by Carol Joy London at The Dorchester Spa. New treatments include the innovative Diamond Facial with Oxygen that helps leave a firm, clear and glowing complexion (90 minutes/£170, approximately $266 USD). The facial uses a unique Oxyjet machine, which is an oxygen generator that produces 95% of pure oxygen into a state-of-the-art gentle microdermabrasion diamond head. The diamond head is far superior to the traditional crystal-based microdermabrasion and the soothing oxygen-blast aids cell renewal and stimulates collagen production. There is also the “For Your Eyes Only” eye treatment that restores tired eyes by an application of Rose Absolute, the queen of essential oils, followed by a blend of traditional massage techniques incorporating a precious jade roller and acupressure to aid circulation, reduce tension, puffiness and sinus congestion (35 minutes/£90, approximately $140 USD).
  • The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air just introduced “The Lifestyle by Scott Crawford,” a bespoke wellness offering, as part of a partnership with recognized fitness specialist Scott Crawford, founder of California’s SOMA Get Fit. As part of a broad collaboration with Crawford, the hotels will help guests to “Get Fit, Feel Good and Have Fun” by working one-on-one with a team of fitness coaches personally directed by Crawford. Individualized wellness sessions include an array of activities from local hikes to yoga to horseback riding. “The Lifestyle by Scott Crawford” wellness retreats must be booked at least five days in advance, and need to be cancelled 72 hours in advance to avoid a full-fee penalty. Also recently introduced is the “Weekday Bliss” package where guests of either The Beverly Hills Hotel or Hotel Bel-Air can enjoy a $50 lunch credit at the Cabana Café or Wolfgang Puck Restaurant when booking a 60-minute massage (Swedish or Deep Tissue) or a 60-minute La Prairie Signature Facial.
