Head to Toe Tips and Trends for Teeny Bikini Season

Though it may be snowing in some places, we can dream about swimsuit season and the pampering stuff we can do to get beach-ready. Ocean Key Resort’s Spa Manager SpaTerre has tips for getting into tip top shape.
Skin
Paprika Facials ($120 at SpaTerre) are the latest and greatest way to turn up the heat to reveal hydrated and glowing skin. Our naturally organic facials use paprika to stimulate and bring blood vessels to the surface; the result is smooth skin that is toned and glowing.
Body
A Coconut Sugar Body Polish is a quick way to prep winter bodies for a day at the beach or pool. The experience offers a full body exfoliation with pure cane sugar combined with a choice of fragranced coconut oil. The result is dewy moisturized skin.
To “kick your rear end into high gear,” Ocean Key Resort’s SpaTerre recently introduced Fanny Facial; the skin is prepped by cleansing, exfoliating, applying masks and serums, and finished with cleaning up any unsightly hairs that may be lingering.
To complete the transformation from winter to summer, the 100% organic AussieAirbrush Tan.u This natural-looking airbrush tan is safer than baking in the sun and lasts the same amount of time (5-7 days).
Feet
The Key Lime Margarita Pedicure was designed with summer in mind; it includes a coconut sugar exfoliation, hot towel body butter masque, and a paraffin dip, which will leave your feet poolside ready, top your toes off with one of our new summer polishes sure to be the bow on top of the prettiest package. Best of all, a Key Lime margarita is served during the experience!
Some of the hottest nail colors for 2010 will be:
* Putty’s (a neutral brown-grey) * Flattering on all skin tones
* Fluorescents (think 80’s neon) Pink and Orange
* Metallic (gold, silver, gunmetal) * Universally flattering
* Tropical Hues (think the water in the Caribbean, blues and greens)
* Ever Classic French (very beach club chic) * Universally flattering for all ages and skin tones
