The Spa at Cedarbrook Lodge, quintessentially Northwest destination spa located just outside of Seattle on 18 acres of lush wetlands, will embrace the holidays with festive treatments utilizing nature’s seasonal elements to rejuvenate and restore. Opening in late September 2014, The Spa draws upon the award winning Cedarbrook Lodge’s serene and lush location, offering guests a field to forest experience, featuring pure plant botanical spa treatments that take guests on a transformative journey.

“There’s no better way to get prepared for the chaos of the holidays than by relaxing with a festive treatment.” said Joan Southon, Director at The Spa. “We spend so much time focusing on others during the holidays and it’s important to remember that we need to focus on ourselves as well.”

A selection of holiday focused treatments includes:

  • Hot Toddy for the Body: Enhance your warm winter glow by increasing your circulation through an exfoliation made of spices and oil-soaked grains, which moisturize the body, and orange, clove, and cinnamon, which brighten dull skin tones. These fine fragrant herbs and spices release therapeutic oils for an experience that is heartwarming and skin-brightening. (50 minutes; $118)
  • Allure of Autumn Facial: The beneficial healing properties of pure honey, rosehip, and orange peel refine the complexion to a rosy glow. Combined together this treatment brightens, stimulates, and recharges a winter weary complexion. (50 minutes; $98)
  • Cinnamon Spice Body Scrub: Complex in its ability to condition and soften the skin, this precious body oil and cinnamon scrub creates an exfoliating paste to soften, hydrate, and illuminate the skin while invigorating circulation. (50 minutes; $108)
  • Fall Foot Revitalizer: This luxurious foot treatment starts with a soothing foot soak, followed by an exfoliating foot massage with ground pumpkin seeds, cinnamon bark, and organic vanilla extract to create a seasonal treat for the feet. (50 minutes; $98)

The Spa at Cedarbrook Lodge will be located on the ground floor of Cedarbrook Lodge, adjacent to the award winning Copperleaf Restaurant. The Spa consists of two couples rooms; a Vichy shower treatment room; a fireside relaxation room; two aesthetician treatment rooms; four manicure and pedicure stations; a shared serenity suite with soaking tub; separate men’s and women’s locker rooms; and a patio for group events. Seasonally changing Mighty Leaf Tea and specialty beverages are also available.

This is the first phase in Cedarbrook Lodge’s expansion, which will also include a new five-story Alder guest room building, featuring 63 guest rooms, including two Presidential Suites, and a communal Living Room with sitting areas, TV, 24/7 complimentary snacks and more. The new building will bring the total number of rooms available at Cedarbrook Lodge to 167. The expansion is set to be complete by end of 2014.
