 Enjoying the Spirit of the Season at the Arizona Biltmore

Celebrating the holidays in the desert, in the nostalgic ambiance of the Arizona Biltmore, can be festive with the added bonus of warm days and spa treatments, as well as special activities and events.

Holiday Season Spa Specials:

Relax, rejuvenate and melt away tension during this busy time of year with the Biltmore’s special menu of holiday spa treatments, offered through Jan. 15, 2012.

Holiday Bliss Massage –Let the aromas of orange and clove lift your spirits while organic cranberry seed oil rejuvenates the skin. 50 minutes $135, 80 minutes $195.

Winter Warmth Facial – This aromatic pumpkin peel will leave your skin radiant and glowing, perfect for those holiday events. 50 minutes, $150.

Chai Spice Body Wrap – This aromatic body wrap, infused with the warming spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove, soothes and quenches dry skin. 50 minutes, $165

Sugar Mint Pedicure – Give your feet the gift of this revitalizing mint infused pedicure, perfect after the long holiday shopping hours. 50 minutes, $85.

Sparkle and Shine Package – Combines Winter Warmth Facial and Makeup Application. $215 including gratuity.

The Biltmore’s 60-foot-tall Christmas tree, one of the tallest in the country, illuminated with thousands of sparkling lights, welcomes guests at the front entrance. Also setting the stage for the holiday season are many decorated Christmas trees, a menorah, twinkle lights, starbursts glittering against the gold leaf of the lobby ceiling and much more.

“Festival of Trees” Benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospital: Holiday evergreen trees, beautifully decorated by local interior designers, will be on display through Dec. 11 in the Arizona Biltmore Ballroom. Guests and the community are welcome to come view them and bid on a tree for home or office. Silent auction proceeds go to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Gingerbread House Contest Benefiting Make-A-Wish: Local architects and pastry chefs team up to create imaginative gingerbread structures that will be on display in the lobby through Dec. 19. Guests and the community are invited to come view them, cast votes for their favorites and bid on them. The silent auction proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona®.

Christmas Eve:  Festive carol singing with a pianist and Story Time with Mrs. Claus in the lobby with complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.

Snowy Movie – On Christmas Eve at 7:00 p.m., the holiday classic “Miracle on 34th Street” on a big screen on Squaw Peak Lawn.

Special Christmas Eve Tea in the Lobby Tea Court – Seatings at noon and 2 pm.

Five-Course Christmas Eve Dinner in Wright’s at The Biltmore for $85

Three-course Christmas Eve Menu in Frank & Albert’s for $45.

 Christmas Day:

Three-course Special Christmas Day menu at Frank & Albert’s for $45.

 New Year’s Eve:

Chef’s Five-Course Tasting Menu with Champagne Toast in Wright’s at The Biltmore for $95.

Three-course New Year’s Eve menu at Frank & Albert’s for $65.
