While many of us are still wrapping holiday gifts, the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa   is looking forward to Valentine’s Day with some freshly baked spa treatments with zero calories.

New spa treatments for Valentine's Day

The spa at JW Marriott in Desert Springs, California, has created zero-calorie spa treats for Valentine’s Day.

The Red Velvet Heavenly Meltdown treatments are a sweet guilt-free indulgence. The 60-minute Red Velvet Aromatherapy Massage uses a white velvety buttercream-scented whipped shea butter massage with Whoopie! Cream.

The Sweet Cream Salt Scrub (30 or 60-minutes) is an invigorating sea salt exfoliation that uses silky rice bran oil and adds a touch of soft sweet cream aroma.

And theCaviar Facial is the ultimate experience for the face, hands and décolletage. This unique facial hydrates, lifts, firms and smoothes the skin with protein-rich caviar and powerful antioxidants. Spa-goers will emerge renewed, refreshed and well… you know, looking quite tasty.

All treatments available throughout February 2013.

The Spa is also equipped with a fitness center, Spa Bistro serving organic produce and free-range meats, and a full spa retail shop.

The resort has recently completed a $25 million dollar renovation, completed this summer, in celebration of the resort’s “silver anniversary”.  The renovation includes the resort’s Ted Robinson-designed Palm and Valley golf courses, a refresh of their 884 guestrooms and suites, and the additions of retail outlet, Sunnylands Chocolate Factory, and restaurants Rockwood Grill, Blue Star Lounge, and Fisherman’s Landing – all which have opened in July.
