Kingsmill Resort & Spa Takes Summer Camp to a Whole New Level

While parents enjoy the amenities of the Kingsmill Resort & Spa, their kids, ages 7 to 12, can enjoy a bunch of kid-friendly activities.

Offered every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, KidKation gives participants a chance to experience the best of Kingsmill – kid’s style. Kayaking and paddle boating on Wareham’s Pond, tennis activities, swimming, fishing and golf instruction are just a few of the activities offered. KidKation runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and costs $55 per day or $150 for all 3 days.
Kingsmill’s Kid’s Kamp will continue to be offered Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The “kamp” gives children the power to choose between a variety of activities ranging from craft projects to physical fitness as well as time for playing in the pool or game room. Kid’s Kamp is $45 per child for full day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or $30 per child for half day (9 a.m. to 12 p.m., or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.).

Kingsmill also hosts Kid’s Night Out, where “kampers” get to play ping-pong, arcade games, make crafts, participate in outside activities (weather permitting) and end the evening with a snack and movie. Each Kid’s Night out will carry a unique theme, such as a Fiesta theme, which features create-your-own tacos and themed crafts and games. Additional themes include Luau, “Under the Big Top” and a shipwreck night.

Pre-registration is required for all Kid’s Kamp activities. To register, or for more information, contact the Sports Club Concierge at (757) 253-8200 or email kingsmill.activities@kingsmill.com. For travel information, visit www.kingsmill.com.
