New Men’s Facial Therapy at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa: Relax without alienating the dude in you

In recent years the number of men who frequent spas has grown tremendously. At Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa in northern New Mexico, over 30 percent of reservations are made by and for men, and for good reason: 40 miles of single track mountain biking trails, less than one hour from a multitude of ski hills, near river rafting and world-class fly fishing, Ojo is the perfect combination of rugged adventure and ultimate relaxation.  Now, Ojo offers a new Men’s Fitness Facial Therapy just for the boys.

The Men’s Fitness Facial is an invigorating spa treatment that cleans and softens the face, revitalizing skin that becomes irritated by daily shaving and exposure to the drying Southwest sun and wind.

The session includes an Ojo Hot Herbal Towel compress to melt away stress, and a soothing massage of the face, neck and shoulders. SUNDÃRI skin care products complete this rejuvenating treatment, drawing out impurities from the skin, and providing nourishment while cleansing, toning, exfoliating, and hydrating your face.  Prices range from a 25 minute stand alone treatment at $59 to 50 minutes at $99.

“Ojo is the perfect environment to enjoy an unpretentious and authentic atmosphere for the male spa novice or spa enthusiast,” stated Spa Director Jeannine Dolan.

Local writer and editor Kent Black noted, “I never thought of it as just a spa. The resort’s recent additions of great food, private tubs, specialized massage and the myriad other treatments have not alienated the ‘dude’ in me who comes off the Red River after two days super dirty. After a couple days of fishing or skiing and an afternoon luxuriating at Ojo, I know I’ve experienced the best of New Mexico.”

The Springs property consists of 1,100 acres and is adjoined to thousands of acres of national forest and public land. The diverse landscape ranges from the lush river valley to stunning high desert mesas. Ojo’s own Artesian Restaurant serves up fresh, inventive, locally influenced foods such as quinoa rellenos, green chiles fries (thinly sliced chiles fried and served with an Asian dipping sauce) and green chile encrusted salmon.

  1. Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.
Is it tough to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty
fast. I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m
not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or
    suggestions? Cheers
