SIMULTANEOUS COSMETIC SURGERIES ARE A GROWING TREND IN  MOTHER / DAUGHTER BONDING
Okay, I know that plastic surgery is a growth industry — and I’m not against it in principle. But I  received a press release that made me cringe just a little bit. And here it is:
mother daughter plastic surgery a growing trend.

So instead of flowers and candy, do we celebrate Mother’s Day with a mother-daughter tummy tuck?

One of the biggest growth trends in the multi-billion dollar cosmetic surgery industry, according to medical experts, is the surge among mothers and daughters who undergo plastic surgery together. As cosmetic surgery in the U.S. continues to rise 10% every year, growing numbers of moms and their girls are getting plastic surgery contemporaneously to support each other and strengthen their familial bonds in the process.
Wow! Whatever happened to mother-daughter lunches? Or shopping? Or anything that doesn’t involve scalpels and anesthesia?
