Now I Can Carry My Favorite Perfume Onboard!
Okay, I have travel-sizes of all my favorite creams, lotions, mouthwahs, toothpaste, etcetera — all the things I want in my carryon when I travel by plane, just in case my luggage gets lost or delayed. But the one thing I couldn’t put in my one-quart zip-lock bag was my favorite eau de parfum, Ricci Ricci Dancing Ribbon (by Nina Ricci). Though the size I had was under the 3 ounce limit, it was a beautiful limited edition bottle and I wasn’t about to risk breaking it (or having it leak). So I usually traveled with a second-best or third-best scent.
Until Travalocame along. It’s a refillable perfume atomizer, which I could fill in seconds. It has a patent-pending spill-free Genie-S pump system, which is super-simple and yes, foolproof. It doesn’t require a funnel (which usually causes spills and waste) and work with all removable nozzle bottles of scent.
Travalo is small, the size of a finger and easily fits in my zip-lock bag for travel or my purse. There are several models; the newest is the Travalo Excel ($19.99), which holds 30 percent more fragrance (65 sprays) and is made of durable aluminum.
Each Travalo comes with a lifetime warranty in addition to the following features: Transportation Security Administration (TSA) approved 98 percent recyclable, environmentally-friendly, lightweight material, a clear window to gauge level of perfume.
There are three sizes: Pure, Classic and Excel (50-65 sprays each), which retail for $9.99 to $19.99.
My only complaint: Why did it take so long to invent such a terrific product?
