Tailor-made pampering at one of Morocco’s finest addresses

Beachcomber Hotels has announced that the Spa by Clarins, exclusive to the new Royal Palm Marrakech, is now open. The Royal Palm Marrakech, Beachcomber Hotels’ first property outside of the Indian Ocean, opened its doors earlier this year bringing the level of luxury and excellence associated with the Royal Palm Mauritius to North Africa. Conveniently located just 12 km from the bustling centre of Marrakech and 8 km from the airport, this luxurious five star property, inspired by Berber culture, is situated within a vast 231- hectare estate amongst age-old olive trees, offering a serene and tranquil haven to its guests.

For the past few months the finishing touches to the sensational spa have been underway but from the beginning of August guests to the Royal Palm will be able to experience the new Spa by Clarins. Designed to resemble a Moroccan palace dedicated to well-being and beauty, the Spa by Clarins consists of different areas where specific treatments are tailored to address guests’ differing needs.

The treatment menu offers a range of treatments, many inspired by Moroccan culture, as well as Royal Palm signature treatments. All are underpinned by the technical know-how of Clarins to ensure maximum benefit.

Sample treatments

‘Supreme Rose’ Signature Massage

Welcome to a world of voluptuousness and immerse yourself in a whirlwind of floral fragrances, abandoning your body to a truly authentic massage experience. Inspired by the Moroccan Ksal, this massage combines pressure techniques, stretching and vibrations to soothe body and soul. (90 minutes)

Body Wrap with Ghassoul Clay and Spices

This traditional body wrap has been used by Moroccan women for centuries and gently purifies, tones and nourishes the skin. (45 minutes)

Traditional Hammam

In the purest tradition of Moroccan hammam rituals, this exceptional scrub combines black soap and argan oil with the voluptuous fragrance of honey. (45 minutes)

Steam room treatments are an essential part of Moroccan culture. They are a central feature of the Spa by Clarins at the Royal Palm Marrakech and remain a preferred way to regenerate and unwind. No trip would be complete without experiencing one. Far more than a mere ritual, the hammam allows you to gently let go with the soft sound of water and lighting softened by mist for an awakening of the senses. The Clarins Spa at the Royal Palm offers 6 single or double hammams and 1 hammam for 4-6 people.

The Spa also offers a number of special areas reserved for women only. Additionally, there are 8 single treatment cabins, 2 double cabins with balneotherapy, plus 2 double cabins and 1 single cabin with affusion massage. There is also a lovely yoga pavilion which guests can use on their own or join a group class at scheduled times. Before and after treatments, guests are encouraged to unwind in the spa’s relaxation area and a bar serving fresh juices, fruit and herbal teas and other refreshments is open throughout the day.

The Spa by Clarins sits adjacent to the hotel’s fully equipped sports centre which offers a heated 25-metre pool, Pilates studio, cardio room, fitness room and personal training.
